I'm Austin Lewis. I started Blackwell after watching my friends running small businesses get sold $5,000 websites that didn't work, locked into year-long contracts with agencies that ghosted them, and charged extra for every small change.

The infrastructure a small business actually needs: a real site, a booking system, missed-call follow-up, review automation, a unified inbox. It's just never been packaged this way, at this price, run by someone who actually answers the phone.

How is this different from hiring a freelancer or another agency? +
Most freelancers build you a site and disappear. Most agencies lock you into a contract, charge extra for every change, and treat you like a low-priority account. Blackwell is one founder responsible for one product at one price. When something breaks, you call me. When you want a change, you text me. That's the entire model.
Why is it only $279/month? What's the catch? +
No catch. The price is low because the system is built to scale, so the same setup runs for every customer. The build is included, and we make our money on the monthly subscription, for as long as you stay and it keeps working for you. That only works if we keep you happy, which is the point.
What if I want to cancel? +
Cancel any month. No early termination fees, no clawbacks, no quarterly minimum. We'd rather lose a customer who's unhappy than hold them hostage to a contract.
How fast will I see results? +
Missed-call text-back works the day your site goes live. Review requests start within the first week. Google ranking improvements take 60–90 days. If your business already gets phone calls, you'll feel it immediately.
Do I have to do anything technical? +
No. You answer 15 questions on an onboarding form. After that, you do nothing. No software to learn, no dashboard to log into, no codes to copy. Your only job is to answer your phone when it rings.
Do I own the website? +
You own your domain, your content, your customer list, your reviews, and your data, always. The website itself runs on Blackwell's infrastructure, which is what lets us maintain everything for $279 a month. If you ever leave, we hand over your content and you keep your domain. We will not hold your business hostage.
What happens on the sales call? +
We get on a 20-minute Zoom. I answer your questions about your business and what we'd build. If it's a fit, we set up your account on the same call. No follow-up sequence, no "circling back," no sales pipeline.
How does the AI assistant work? +
Every Blackwell build includes an AI assistant that can answer customer questions and book appointments around the clock. You choose how it works: full assistant, capture only (it just grabs the lead so you never miss one, then you follow up personally), or off. Your call, set during onboarding.
Do I own my leads and customer data? +
Yes. Every lead, contact, and conversation is yours. You can export your data anytime, and if you ever leave, you take it with you.
What if I already have a website? +
Most existing sites are slow, missing booking, missing review automation, and not actually maintained. If yours brings in steady leads, keep it. If not, we replace it and run everything around it. Either way, you keep your domain.
